When to speak to a professional
Please talk to your paediatrician, family doctor or a qualified mental-health professional if:
- your child snores loudly, gasps, or stops breathing during sleep
- sleep problems continue for several weeks despite a consistent routine
- your child seems anxious, sad or withdrawn during the day, not only at bedtime
- you are finding it hard to cope
That last one is not rare and it is not shameful. Telling someone is the strongest thing a parent can do.
If you are in the United States and in crisis, call or text 988 at any hour.
Your family blooms when you do
They won’t remember whether the house was tidy.
They won’t remember the laundry pile, or the evening the pasta was late, or the week you ordered takeaway three times.
They 'll remember how home felt.
You still have thousands of ordinary evenings left. This one is one of them.
Let’s make it feel calmer. Starting tonight
